Sophie Cohen

Sophie Cohen is an associate attorney with the firm. She counsels clients with respect to their intellectual property rights and portfolios. In particular, she handles trademark clearance, registration, prosecution and policing, copyright registration, domain name disputes and infringement cases.

Prior to coming to Cobalt, Sophie was an international law and business associate with a Berkeley law firm. In addition to her corporate business experience. Sophie also has special expertise in the field of medical law. She negotiated contracts for the California Medical Association and helped write the American Medical Association's Physician Employment Manual.

Sophie is a French native and a member of the California and New York State Bars. She graduated from the Sorbonne Law School in Paris and received her L.LM. from U.C. Davis. Sophie is a movie and TV buff. When not in the office, she can also be found browsing the latest exhibit at SFMOMA, cooking for friends or enjoying Maison du Chocolat delicacies.
