Sagie Kleinlerer, is an associate attorney with the firm. He represents a wide range of corporate and new media clients in complex transactional matters in the areas of copyright, trademark, and licensing law. Prior to joining Cobalt, Sagie worked with the copyright and trademark law department of Shiboleth LLP in New York. He worked with the Rutgers Community Law Clinic advising and incorporating various not-for-profit organizations and has also worked as an intern with the in-house trademark law departments of CBS, Inc. (formerly Viacom, Inc.) and with the Colgate-Palmolive Company. In the Spring of 2004 Sagie worked as an extern for the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Sagie is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the California State Bar, Copyright Society of the USA, American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Sagie is admitted to practice law in the states of California, New York and New Jersey. He is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law - Newark (J.D., 2005), where he was the Senior Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Record. Sagie is a graduate of the Boston University College of Communication (B.S., 1995 cum laude) where he completed his undergraduate studies in Communication - Advertising and Art History.
Sagie speaks English and Hebrew with native proficiency and speaks conversational French.
When not in the office, you may hear Sagie on tv and radio spots as he is also a voice-over actor.
